Key Responsibilities

Monitor networks, servers, and applications for security threats and vulnerabilities
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices
Investigate and respond to security incidents, breaches, and suspicious activity
Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and security tools
Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, standards, and client security requirements
Implement endpoint protection and secure access protocols
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to strengthen overall security posture
Prepare incident reports and maintain detailed security documentation
Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity technologies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, encryption, and secure architecture
Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and vulnerability scanners
Knowledge of penetration testing tools and techniques
Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Linux, and cloud environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to security incidents

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or similar
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or NIST
Experience with threat intelligence and digital forensics
